German luxury motoring brand, BMW prides themselves in satisfying a niche in the market. Their best ever product was the universally loved BMW X5. The first ever Sports Activity vehicle that was more capable on the tarmac than off road. A few years later, BMX would shock the motoring industry with the polarising X6 model.
It was sort of the coupe version of the X5 with an awkward design and cramped rear seat. Quiet simply put, there was no point in creating the X6. However, the SAV coupe became the ultimate snobbery devise for drivers who wanted to scream out their status and social standing.
This year BMW released X4, a subtler version of the X6 producing the same head turning effect and the X factor in traffic. Unlike the X6, the X4 is not upsetting to look at. It is also practical with more headroom in the back. The engine are also impressive with a powerful straight six 3.5 Litre turbo charged petrol engine. There is also the 2-litre turbo diesel. The only down side with the X4 is the price as it is expected to be over P800 000.
